Islamabad: Neelam Irshad Sheikh, a leader of the ruling Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has admitted to the Pakistan military’s close ties with the Taliban on national television. The leader talked about Pakistan’s anti-India agenda and their plans to take Kashmir with the help of the Taliban during an on-air television show.

During a TV news debate, the PTI leader openly revealed Pakistan’s intention to come together with the Taliban is to claim Kashmir.

“The Taliban are saying that they are with us and they will help us in Kashmir,” said Sheikh.

“Madam, do you realise what you have said. You have no idea what you have said. For God’s sake ma’am, this show will air around the world. This will be viewed in India,” the news anchor said in an attempt to take control of the situation.

However, Sheikh remained unbothered and added that “Taliban will help us because they have been mistreated.”
