Nagaland govt announced to provide Rs10k financial aid those Registered persons not coming to Nagaland

Kohima: As many States Government trying to bring back their people belonging to their natives. Nagaland government announced that the government will pay an amount of Rs 10,000 to those citizens presently staying outside but “decided to stay back where they are currently staying”, the state government also mentioned that one-time monetary assistance will be given to those “registered applicants” who have applied for their return to the state through the portal before Noon of May 11.

According to the official update, a total of 18,282 persons have signed on the “Returnee declaration form” on the government portal. Home commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, also on Wednesday announced that they will be provided a facility to apply a one-time monetary aid for those who have already registered or sign up in the Returnees Declaration Form and are currently staying outside the North Eastern States and Sikkim.

To avail the facility of monetary assistance, all those registered persons are mandatory to login to into the website portal and fill up the ‘one-time assistance’ form by providing the requisite details.

The registration window was activated at 7 PM on Wednesday and will continue till 7 PM on May 16. Required documents include aadhaar number, bank passbook, indigenous inhabitant certificate or birth certificate issued by the government of Nagaland.
