Manipur: Private School Development Council, Thoubal notifies to collect 50% of school fees from April

IMPHAL Sept 25-2020: The Private Schools Development Council (PSDC) Thoubal has notified respective schools for collection of fees in full up to March 2020 and 50% from April 2020 till the lockdown is lifted and to collect the fees accordingly with the consent of the parents if the online classes are done regularly and strictly.

The press note of PSDC issued by its secretary L. Shaktidar Singh said that such resolution was adopted with reference to the meeting resolutions of UASRSOM and HIDIPSAM at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Sangaiprou which had resolved to collect 50 percent tuition fees from all the recognized private schools’ students and to open all the recognized private schools of both hills and valleys in the first week of October 2020.The PSDC resolutions composed of opening regular classes by the 1st week of October by maintaining SOP guidelines directives by WHO and NDMA, and also to pay the salaries of staff as per collection of fees.

Moreover, the PSDC plans to induct new members of PSDC under RR of recruitment policy and also to conduct observance of PSDC foundation day with a lunch at MMRC Unity Park, Khangabok on the 8th October 2020, and to organize a workshop on NEP 2020.

It also resolved to reaffirm the RR of PSDC, Thoubal until the new RR is introduced.
