Bishnupur, June 14 2022: A combined team of Bishnupur commandos and column of 16 Assam Rifles arrested one self-styled lieutenant of PLA/RPF from Oinam Bazar this afternoon.
According to reliable information about the presence of active member of underground outfit at Oinam Bazar area, the combined team led by Y Shaktishen OC Bishnupur commando under the command of M Roni, Additional SP, Operation and under overall supervision of IPS N Herojit, SP Bishnupur, rushed to the spot and arrested one active member of PLA/RPF at around 1:30 pm.
The arrested person has been identified as Naorem Ingoba Singh alias Ingo (34) s/o (L) N Bhorot Singh of Samurou Naorem Chaparou Makha Leikai.
He further disclosed that he had joined the outfit in the month of July, 2008 through one Chinglen of Khabeisoi and received basic military training in 2008.The arrested person has been handed over to Nambol Police Station for further necessary action.
