Manipur: Longmai Bazar Board imposed indefinite lockdown on Noney Bazar

Local transmission is now highly suspected with 10 persons testing positive through Rapid Antigen Testing at Noney Covid Care Centre. Contact tracing has been taken up by Noney police & volunteers.

NONEY, Sept 27-2020: The Longmai (Noney) Bazar Board has imposed indefinite lockdown on Noney bazar after some employees of Manipur Rural Bank, Noney branch, and one staff of Manipur Finance Development Investment (MDFI) Noney branch, in the same building, situated at Noney Bazar tested positive. One volunteer on duty at MRB also tested positive today.

The whole building of both branch at Noney bazar have been declared containment zone.

Dr Edwin Golmei, Chief Medical Officer, Noney said that any customer who visited the two banks from September 22 to Sept ermber 25 have been directed to report and get tested at Tengkonjang Hr. Sec. School, Noney Covid Care Center in order to control the further spread of the contagion.
