IMPHAL Sept 25-2020: Keirao MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei has been appointed as Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board, Manipur.
Chief Secretary issued an order to this effect on Friday in the name of Manipur Governor.

According to the orders, Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board, Manipur shall be paid such salary, conveyance allowances, travelling and daily allowances and shall be entitled to such amenities regarding residence, motor car as are provided for a Cabinet Minister, Manipur under the Salaries and Allowances of the Ministers (Manipur) Act, 1972 as amended from time to time and rules made there under.
Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board, Manipur shall not be entitled to recieve any sum out of funds provided by the Assembly by way of salary and allowances to members thereof.
