Imphal, June 02 2022: As part of celebration to commemorate the 8th year of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government, party’s workers will dedicate 75 hours in a span of 10 days to collect complaints on shortcomings from the people apart from conveying them about welfare schemes initiated by BJP government.
Informing this to media persons during a press conference held at Thambal Shanglen here on Thursday, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi said that the chief minister, MPs, ministers and MLAs are visiting many places and interacting with people to ascertain whether different schemes of the government are reaching the people or not, and how much the commoners are availing benefits of the schemes.
In the same manner, party workers will dedicate 75 hours in 10 days to make public understand about the purpose and benefits of welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said.
According to A Sharda, central schemes are being implemented properly in BJP ruled states but not so in non BJP ruled states.
Though government has data for implementation of central schemes, BJP workers will collect its own data to identify people left out from the coverage by the central schemes and they will collect the data by dedicating 75 hours in 10 days, she said, adding that ‘Go to village’ and ‘Go to hills’ programmes initiated by the N Biren government in Manipur are among programmes viewed seriously by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As part of celebrating completion of 8th year of the BJP government at the centre, party workers will visit poor families of the state directly and hear their grievances to help them according to their needs.
Ministers, MLAs and party leaders have been directed to dedicate 75 hours to hear grievances of the people and programmes in this connection had already begun from May 31 and separate programmes for all units of the party like Yuva Morcha, ST, SC and Minority Morcha have already been chalked out, she said.
