Manipur: Kuki Student’s Organisation, Churachandpur slams BJP’s Youth wing

CCpur, May 30 2022: The Kuki Students’ Organisation, Churachandpur has today flagged the activities of the BJP’s youth wing which it alleged are ‘insidious’ and now turns ‘imperious’ and ‘flagrant’ .

The activities of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Manipur Pradesh has constantly mire different communities as it constantly engage in hate-speeches, it claimed.

The irreverent and vitriolic hate-posts are unending and have put throes to the ingenuous Kukis.

The targeting of a particular community by the youth wing has seriously maligned the image of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

They are punishable offences under Section 153A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and The Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989,’ it alleged.

The KSO also claimed that recent activities of the BJYM has made the leaders of the Yuva Morcha a persona non grata to the Kukis, despite the youth wing being of National character and the BJP being largely supported in the recent elections.

It further claimed that the activities and social media posts of BJYM Manipur Pradesh is a faux pas to a National party and an embarrassment.

It exemplifies the naivety and crass of some leaders in Manipur who are unworthy of holding such positions.

When the State is slowly and steadily moving towards peaceful resolution of all political and social problems, which the communities in the State have onerously worked for, it has been circumscribed by these imperious and egregious misdeeds of the Yuva Morcha leaders in Manipur, it alleged.

‘The enmity created by the BJYM Manipur Pradesh will be fleeting if no timely action is taken by the authorities concerned in the State,’ it said and urged the Central and State Governments to do the needful as per the law of the land.
