India sent 3 naval ships to transport Indian stranded in Maldives and UAE

They will return to Kochi, defence official said,

India has sent three naval ships to evacuate its citizens stranded in the Maldives and UAE due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a defence spokesperson said in the early hours on Tuesday. INS Jalashwa deployed off Mumbai coast, along with INS Magar, diverted for Maldives on Monday night, he said.

The three ships will return to Kochi, he said. INS Magar and INS Shardul are Southern Naval Command ships, while INS Jalashwa is from Eastern Naval Command.

The INS Shardul diverted to Dubai to evacuate the expatriates, the spokesperson added.

3 more zones de-contained in Delhi, total containment zones now stands at 90

Three more zones in Delhi were de-contained on Monday, with this the total number of containment zones in the national capital now stands at 90. In and around the area of 11/3, 2nd Floor Ashok Nagar, A 36/4, East Patel Nagar and G-174 and Capital Greens, DLF, Moti Nagar were removed from the list yesterday.
