CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visits flood relief camps in Nalbari

NALBARI: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited flood-affected areas of Nalbari district and reviewed the situation in those areas on Tuesday. CM Sarma visited flood-affected areas of Barbhag Revenue Circle in Nalbari district. Sarma first visited a relief camp at Deharkuchi Durga Puja Temple at Deharkuchi. He said that the government will help the needy people. He inspected the facilities at those camps and asked Nalbari DC to ensure that relief supplies reach the affected people. He also directed them to evacuate people staying in vulnerable areas to relief camps. The Chief Minister was accompanied by 59 LAC MLA and Cabinet Minister of Public Health Engineering, Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship and Tourism department Jayant Malla Baruah and Deputy Commissioner of the district Gitimani Phukan.
