Guwahati, Sept 30-2020: Eight students and one teacher of Pathshala town in Bajali district of Assam have tested positive for COVID-19. A series of tests were conducted in three educational institutions of Pathshala on Tuesday. This development comes after Assam government announced the Unlock 4 guidelines where classes from 9 to 12 have resumed functioning in the State.

Meanwhile, the news of the students getting tested positive for the deadly virus has spread fear amongst the children of that age as they are the most vulnerable group as far as the spreading of the virus is concerned.

However, with the fourth phase of the unlock is coming to an end on September 30, the state is all set for the upcoming phase of Unlock 5. Several other key sectors such as cinemas and tourism are awaiting approval from the Government so that things can be resumed.
