New Delhi: In a path-breaking exercise displaying a sense of unity of purpose, an estimated 70 lakh to one crore people are expected to participate in the Global Surya Namaskar programme on Makar Sankranti on January 14.
The Global Surya Namaskar Demonstration programme is organised by the AYUSH Ministry under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. Minister for AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal, said that the Surya Namaskar demonstration on Makar Sankranti is more relevant in the current resurgence of COVID-19.
